Dr. Garg is the founder of Implant Seminars, the nation’s largest provider of dental implant continuing education. He is considered the world’s preeminent authority on bone biology, bone harvesting and bone grafting for dental implant surgery and is also the co-discoverer of platelet-rich plasma. He has written and published 14 books, many of which have been translated into multiple languages and distributed worldwide. Dr. Garg is the current president of the International Dental Implant Association.

Dr. Krauser earned his dental degree at the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine and completed advanced training in periodontics at Boston University. He currently maintains a private practice in Palm Beach County, FL. He has authored several peer-reviewed journal articles and textbook chapters and co-authored a popular textbook entitled Dental Implants: The Art and Science. This has been published in English, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, German, and Mandarin Chinese. The updated edition will soon become available. Dr. Krauser is an esteemed member of many organizations. He has achieved Fellow status in the Academy of Osseointegration and is a Diplomate of the International College of Oral Implantology. He has lectured on six continents and enjoys interacting with his audience.
Dr. Guerrero is a board-certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon who currently maintains a private practice in Houston, TX. Most recently, he was an assistant professor of oral and maxillofacial surgery at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, TX. Prior to that, he was director of the Santa Rosa Maxillofacial Surgical Center in Caracas, Venezuela. Dr. Guerrero is the 2016 recipient of the Harry Archer Award from the American College of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. His areas of interest include orthognathic and esthetic surgery, maxillofacial implants, facial clefts, and intraoral distraction osteogenesis. Dr. Guerrero is also an active researcher and lectures internationally.
Dr. Thomas J. Balshi is a board-certified prosthodontist and founder of The Institute for Facial Esthetics in Fort Washington, PA. His 45-year career in dental medicine includes graduate and post-graduate degrees from Temple University School of Dentistry and prosthetic implant training at both the University of Toronto and The Institute For Applied Biotechnology in Gothenburg, Sweden. Dr. Balshi is a devoted researcher and seasoned academician. He has lectured internationally from the Royal Academy of Medicine in London, to world congresses in Paris, Munich, Bologna, Athens, New Delhi, and Sydney, as well as in many cities in both North and South America. Considered an expert in dental implant prosthodontics, his trademarked Teeth in a Day® protocol has served patients from around the globe. He has authored numerous scientific articles published in professional journals as well as co-authored the handbook titled A Patient’s Guide To Dental Implants.
Henri Diederich earned his doctorate in dentistry at the Free University of Brussels (ULB) in 1985. In 1995, he was awarded a university diploma in Implantology at Paris Rene Descartes, and in 2008 he obtained a university diploma in Expertise and Personal Injury at the University of Montpellier, France. He also holds a university diploma in legal dentistry from the University of Montpellier. Dr. Diederich has maintained a private practice in Luxembourg since 1985. He is a founder and president of the Implant Club Luxembourg and president of the Open Dental Community. He served as internship supervisor at the University of Nancy, France. He is also responsible for regular training seminars for the management of implantation in the atrophied bone. Dr. Diederich is an international lecturer and has made significant contributions to the dental field, including various publications mainly focusing on immediate loading in the atrophied bone.
Dr. María del Pilar Ríos Calvo graduated with honors from the Venezuelan Central University in 1990. In 1993 she obtained a CAGS certificate as a specialist in prosthodontics and in 1994 she earned an MScD, both from Boston University. She was awarded a PhD (with honors) from Santa María University, Venezuela, in 2017. Dr. Pilar is a former dean and vice chancellor of health at Santa María University. She created, coordinated, and served as a professor in the Masters in Dentistry on Dental Implantology program at Santa María University. Other posts include professor of Aesthetic and Prosthodontic Specialization postgraduate programs at Venezuelan Central University; president, secretary, and treasurer of the Venezuelan Prosthodontic Society; honorary member and scientific director of the International Institute for Advanced Studies IIEAO–Brazil; president of the Venezuela chapter of ADIA; former senior editorial reviewer for the Journal of Implant Dentistry. In addition, Dr. Pilar has received numerous awards; mentored many master’s theses; and authored/coauthored myriad articles on prosthodontics, implantology, PRP, bone regeneration, and orofacial harmonization. She currently maintains a private practice in Caracas, Venezuela.
Dr. Guillermo Chacon earned his DDS degree from the University of Costa Rica in 1990 and completed a combined prosthetic/surgical oral implantology fellowship at the University of Miami Jackson Memorial Hospital from 1993 to 1995. He followed that with a 1-year oral and maxillofacial surgery internship at The Ohio State University and a 4-year residency at the University of Washington. From 2000-2009, he was a full-time faculty member at The Ohio State University, serving as the director of the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Residency Program, chairman of the Division of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, and affiliate faculty in the graduate prosthodontics program. He is currently an affiliate professor in the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Washington and a consultant at Madigan Army Medical Center. Dr. Chacon maintains a full-time practice in Washington state with a special focus on surgical dental implant reconstruction and orthognathic surgery. He is a diplomate of the American Board of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery and a fellow of the American College of Surgeons, the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the American College of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, and the International Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons.
